The Department of Commerce enables small businesses to reach out to many different funding sources simultaneously through a simple process.  Conversely, the Capital Consortium allows different funders to assess potential lending opportunities quickly and to collaborate in providing financial assistance to appropriate borrowers.

Other assistance with the Dept. of Commerce...

The FLAG seeks to enhance several programs of the Department of Commerce, specifically the Storefront Improvement Program (SIP), the Business Security Camera Program, and the InStore Program.  Furthermore, the Department of Commerce supports local Community Development Corporations such as Germantown United CDC.
